"GHOSTED" - An Eric Garcia Film

Hey Everyone!

My name is Eric Garcia and welcome to our short film GHOSTED. I am so excited to make this project but I need YOUR help to make it happen. As passionate filmmakers, we decided to make a short film over the summer and could use any support we can get. This is a story that I thought about writing for a while but haven’t had the chance to do so. Thankfully, I can create it this summer with a small crew and terrific actors!

LOGLINE:

An unfulfilled man struggles to reconcile with his ghost best friend long after she abruptly disappeared from his mundane life.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT:

When I started writing the script for this film, I wanted to make something that would express how I felt at the time through the characters. As I continued to write the script, I realized there was something deeper inside that bothered me. This film ended up being an exploration of my emotions and past relationships between people that I feel are important to show to the world. Ultimately, it is about human connection and how sometimes it is best to communicate what’s on your mind for the benefit of everyone involved, even if it hurts. I wanted to make this film because I believe people understand what it’s like to struggle and maintain a connection with someone.
