Girls of Grit is a summer day camp that provides activity-based learning for girls and teenagers in the Memphis/DeSoto area. Girls are exposed to a variety of career paths, taught leadership skills, and practice value-based decision making.
Girls who attend camps credit the experience with building their confidence, expanding their world view, and being encouraged to pursue non-traditional careers.
In order to expand the camp for more opportunities for girls, we NEED a passenger van! We can impact young ladies lives in such a positive way, but we need a 15-passenger van to increase our camp sizes!
We have found a reliable used van for $2500 and would be SO APPRECIATIVE if you could donate money for this purchase! We need to purchase by June 1!!
