Give Buddy a second chance at life

I have decided to swallow my pride and I am asking my friends to help me in my time of need. My dog Buddy has fallen very ill and needs special care. When we adopted him, we where informed his previous owners gave up on him because of his medical conditions and we have been able to keep him happy and healthy up until now. Sadly, since being out of work this past year, I've had to make the hard choice and pick the cheapest vet care I could find and since his last prescription that was given to him, his skin condition has gotten worse. His fur has been falling out, he is loosing all his weight and can no longer hold his bladder. He also has been fighting infections in his eyes and ears which have him going blind. Buddy has always had lots of spunk and has lost all his spark this past month, he may be getting up there in age, but if getting 5 more years with my baby boy means asking you all for help, than that's what im willing to do for him, because his life is worth it. I'm asking for this amount so we can get him in with a good vet, get his blood work, his allergy testing, pay for meds and get a head start on any surgery he will need. Since I am now starting a new job, I'm confident we will be able to keep up with his care after a while, but I fear he can't hold on much longer without receiving the right and proper care as soon as possible. I hope you can understand how hard it is to watch my boy suffer and hopefully you can lend a helping hand in the situation.
