Gizmo Life Saving Surgery

Hi my name is Rachel and I am fundraising for an expensive but necessary spay surgery for Gizmo the dog. Gizmo is very unique along with her anatomy as she was born with short spine syndrome. Short spine syndrome is very rare and causes her different physical characteristics. She has already had her life saved once as when she was a year old her previous owner was going to euthanize her no fault of her own. She has had a good life since and loves to go on walks with her stroller. She also loves playing ball and is the first one out the door when she knows she is going on a car ride. She spins circles like a cartoon tasmanian devil when excited. She has not been previously spayed because of her unique anatomy but now it is crucial for her survival. She was recently diagnosed with Pyometra which is an infection of the uterus. It is serious and potentially life threatening. The best treatment is removal of the uterus. With her unique physique and being anemic she will need special equipment and supervision as her surgery will be extra risky. Please help give this girl a shot at a long life as she is only 4 and has a lot of potential for a good quality of life after surgery.
