GoFundMe for Taylor Coffman, Zach Lupetin & JJ

Our friend and colleague, Taylor Coffman, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on January 27, 2022. Baby JJ is home and doing well. Unfortunately, Taylor experienced some life-threatening complications after giving birth and has been in and out of ICU since. We're not sure when Taylor will return home to be with Zach and JJ, but it looks as if her recovery may be a bit of a long haul.

Zach has been juggling baby duty and hospital visits, and we'd like to raise funds to help with childcare and other expenses.

Taylor has been with Southern California Public Radio (SCPR) since 2008 and has had many critical roles, including Front Office Receptionist, Executive Coordinator and Office Manager. If you’re lucky enough to know Taylor, you’ll know she’s generous, friendly, and always willing to help. She has been instrumental in working on the annual report, producing videos for SCPR, and serving as a referral funnel for many that have joined us throughout the years—the highest honor!

As the current, Operations Manager of LAist Studios, Taylor has kept the trains running, building systems and processes to elevate the stories we tell. Every day, Taylor wears so many hats: producer, writer, team leader, connector, project manager... it goes on and on. In so many ways, she has been the practical and emotional backbone of our entire operation. She is kind, respectful, inspirational, and always an enthusiastic teammate. We miss her greatly, and we have her in our thoughts every day.
