Gone. - a Noir Thriller Feature Film

Hi, My name is Aidan and this is the funding campaign to start My First Feature Film, I'm an independent Filmmaker in Australia and I want to start things off with a script I had gathering dust on my shelf, although I'm personally funding this film I'm asking for your help to make it more possible. I'm a part of a group called TKSC Productions and we make short films and have never done a feature before, so we want to kick it off with a bang!

Synopsis:

In the gripping noir thriller "Gone," Jack Harper, a man whose life is shattered when he witnesses his wife, Sarah, being brutally murdered by a masked intruder, is interrogated by Detective Martin about the murder. The film unfolds in a series of flashbacks and present-day scenes.

Two years into their marriage, Jack and Sarah share a deep love and happiness that is tragically cut short one fateful night. The couple's quiet suburban life is disrupted when an intruder, hiding behind a mask of bandages, breaks into their home. In a horrifying moment, Sarah is killed, and Jack's world unravels.

Haunted by the murder and consumed by grief and anger, Jack becomes obsessed with solving the case himself. He descends into the dark underbelly of the city, determined to unmask the killer. But as he edges closer to the truth, Jack becomes a broken man, losing all emotion except for his relentless determination.

The film takes viewers on a suspenseful journey through Jack's relentless pursuit of the masked killer, who continues to elude the authorities. A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues, leading to a harrowing showdown.

As Jack confronts the killer and takes justice into his own hands, the police arrive, and he is arrested, leaving the true nature of justice and the consequences of obsession hanging in the balance.

"Gone" is a haunting and atmospheric thriller that explores the depths of love, loss, and the human psyche, leaving the audience with lingering questions about the price one pays for seeking vengeance.

to make this film work we need it to feel believable and to re-use the same locations over and over again I personally feel it Disrupts the story, to believe the story you need a performance that enchants you from start to finish and so paying actors not only helps them but also helps us to find talented performers to make the story real.

this project is important to me as I've always wanted to make films ever since I was a kid and to finally get the chance would be a dream come true.
