Hadrian's Wall walk for Additional Learning Needs

Donation protected
Hi,

My name is Mark Edwards and in 2013 my youngest son Aliou was born and developed normally until about 18 months old. At that stage his mother and myself noticed he was not responsive and he was starting to display unusual behaviour, which we now understand was stimming. At age 20 months he was diagnosed with Significant Global Development Delay which after a two year battle ended in an Autism diagnosis. Aliou is a happy little boy and attends Ysgol Maes Y Coed Special School and he will need lifelong immediate support. Aliou's Autism has been a huge learning curve full of battles, heartbreak and lots and lots of love and I want to walk across the UK with a group of friends to raise funds and awareness for Autism. The plan is for 6 of us to walk West to East 92 miles following Hadrian's Wall over a period of 4 days (~21 miles per day). Please consider donating and sharing this gofundme page with as many people as possible so we can maximise our message and raise as much money as possible.
The money raised will be donated to Ysgol Maes Y Coed School (Charity Number 505413) Parent & Teacher Association to allow those funds to be used to benefit children with ALN for educational and recreational activities to enjoy a fun childhood and prepare for adulthood.
