Haiti 2021 Earthquake

I decided to take immediate action once I heard about the devastating earthquake in Haiti today. I personally am from Jamaica, and I have connections to Haiti via friends and family members. The earthquake today 8/14/21, was a magnitude of 7.2, more powerful than the 2010 earthquake that hit Haiti. As we know, Haiti did not fully recover from the 2010 earthquake.

In times of need I strong believe that communities come together for a greater purpose. I am reaching out to the community to collect donations for Haiti. I know times are extremely rough, and we are in a Pandemic, so any donation is greatly appreciated. Donations can range from cents to dollars. If you can not hep financially, a share is very much appreciated as the reach can result in donations.

Donations will be distributed to United Way Worldwide Disaster Fund and https://www.directrelief.org/emergency/haiti-earthquake-2010/.  Funds will help with providing basic services such as food assistance, shelter, water, sanitation, and hygiene. If you have a specific organization that you want your donation to go to, please leave it in the comments. Proof of donations will be provided for transparency.
