Happy childhood for the Children of Nepal
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Anna and I am fundraising for a happier childhood for the Children of Nepal. I have visited Nepal 3 times already for mountaineering expeditions with elite exped guiding company, led by ground-breaking mountaineer Nims Purja ( check the documentary “14 peaks”). I grew up in Eastern Europe in a very modest family. However, my parents have made everything possible for my sister and I to experience the joy of receiving Barbie dolls (I only had one, and I treasured it for many many years), Lego, books, and learning toys and materials. We haven’t had a lot, but I sure remember every single one of them. Unfortunately, most parents in Nepal can’t afford such luxuries. Rich in cultural heritage, with the magnificence of Mount Everest and the Himalayas as a backdrop, landlocked Nepal remains one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world. I’ll be returning to Nepal in the Spring to try and climb Everest and I would love you to help me make a difference in some of these kids lives. I’ll be partnering up with Nimsdai Foundation to purchase toys and equipment of educational value. Play is the mechanism by which children learn - how they experience the world, practice new skills, and internalize new ideas - and is therefore the essential work of children. Every dollar will make a difference. find out more about the foundation ⬇️
