Head for Change was founded to further research and to offer support and education to past, present and future players. 

Urgent support is needed for players and families right now. 

Head for Change provides 'brain buddies’, 'family friends' and 'family huddles’ to support players and their families.

‘Brain buddies’ use counselling skills to help former players adjust and take a constructive approach to life following their diagnosis.

‘Family friends’ provide education, practical advice and emotional support to wives, partners and family members so that they can make informed choices. 

‘Family huddles' bring together young family members to share experiences and support each other. 

Are you ready to help us meet the cost of these services? Your donation will enable Head For change to provide much needed support immediately to former players and their families 

·       £50 pays for one hour’s counselling to help a player adjust to their changed circumstances.

·       £ 20 pays for training materials and support for a family member

·       £10 provides seed funding for a young family member to begin their own fundraising
