The time is approaching for the replacement of the progesterone implant in my arm. Unfortunately, both the cost of the device and the procedure are not covered by my insurance. I will need to pay for these costs out-of-pocket. The device has to be replaced every 3 years. My doctor uses the implant every 3 years plus a progesterone shot every 3 months to treat my severe endometriosis and ovarian cysts. The endometriosis is severe, after having had 3 laparoscopic ablasions in the past, as well as several other treatments over the past 24 years! The ovarian cysts are dangerous, as they develop within the ovaries, and if they get too large before rupture, it would burst the ovary. I need the help of my loved ones to help me with getting the funds together so I can schedule the procedure.
