Help Abby get a wheelchair accessible vehicle!

Donation protected
We are desperately trying to get a wheelchair accessible vehicle for Abby. Therefore, I want to share with you just a typical day for us with Abby. ❤❤❤ This is definitely out of my comfort zone...but I'll do anything for my children!!!

Abby is 9 years old & currently about 70lbs of dead weight with long legs. I am her primary care giver, because of John's work hours. A normal day consists of picking Abby up every morning and carrying her to the car to load her in a car seat that she is almost too big/long for. As I am carrying her, her body is stiff and she tends to thrust her body backwards. This makes it super scary and unsafe for her and me. I take her to school, unload her wheelchair (by myself most days) and then put her into it. Unloading isn't as hard as loading her. Then I do it all again in the afternoon for pickup. On Tuesday and Thursday I have an extra trip to pick her up and take her to therapy where I load/unload again and again. We arrive home to do it all again. All this while my husband is at work. When he is home he does this for me so it's not so hard on me. My body is beginning to wear down...I struggle with knee, back, shoulder and arm pain daily and I worry that I'm going to completely hurt myself and then what will I do to take care of Abby. By no means am I trying to give a sob story to make anyone feel sorry for me or my life. I would go to the ends of the earth to care for Abby over and over. She is a blessing to our family!! My main goal is to get help with purchasing a safe means of transportation for an extraordinary little girl who did not ask to be dealt this way of life. All who meet Abby fall in love with her. She's one of a kind. If you find it in your heart to help, please know that your kindness with not go unnoticed. We appreciate all support and most definitely prayers. We know that God will provide and make a way for this! Please share this is everyone....it may reach the one person who could help chage our life!

Abby was taken in when she was 17 months old in 2011 by me and John. She was born a very healthy baby, however, the age of 7 months she suffered from Shaking Baby Syndrome causing many neurological damages and trauma. Abby has been wheelchair confined despite the efforts of physical therapy. She cannot walk, talk, nor stand. She suffers from multiple seizures daily and she has had a stroke from the trauma. Abby is now 9 years old and as she ages, she is growing out of her car seat and has gotten heavier and will have to be transferred in her wheelchair rather than her seat. Therefore, we are asking for any efforts you may be willing to give in order to purchase a wheel chair accessible van. Thank you and God Bless.
