Help Annaca walk again after amputation & medical

Hello everyone my Name is Alex Brown and yesterday morning I got a very shocking and sad phone call from a good friend of mine Coty saying that his girlfriend of almost a decade Annaca was just rushed in by an ambulance to Vassar Hospital. When he woke up in the morning, he noticed that his girlfriend was yellow and that she couldn’t move or barely even talk. She has been battling an open wound in her leg for a while now but the infection won and took its toll on her health she had to have her leg amputated yesterday morning at the knee, they are trying to save the other leg it’s been scraped cleaned and prepped but she currently is in the ICU in critical condition and still in a medically induced coma after The first surgery that went successful. There is a 96 hour window to see if her white blood cells come back up and to see if her body regenerates any tissue, if her body does not regenerate tissue, she is going to lose her other leg. She’s going to remain in this medically induced coma until all of the surgeries are done. I am creating this fundraiser so that they have some help with all the medical bills, physical therapy, help with travel expenses, lost wages, and help with anything they could possibly need during this difficult time. Another thing that I am trying to raise money for is for the cost of a wheelchair and a pair of prosthetic limbs. As of right now she needs one but she might need two. I know they’re not cheap and the therapy that goes along with it to learn how to walk again is also not cheap. Most places around here do not except her insurance with this all being said she has a very long road to any type of recovery and I’ll be praying for her to recover as she has a wonderful nine year old son who loves her dearly who wants to see her mommy stay alive. She’s also got a great supportive boyfriend “Coty” who has been by her side for almost a decade. They are going to have to transform their lives to accommodate her recent surgeries and being in a wheelchair for however long it takes for her to acquire, prosthetic limbs and learn how to walk on those prosthetic limbs. She is still very deep in the woods right now in a coma and all we can do right now is pray and do whatever we can to help this family through this very tough traumatic experience.
