Help Brandon's Family Through Their Loss

We are deeply saddened to inform our friends and community about the tragic loss of our beloved nephew, Brandon Gabriel. His life was cut short in a devastating incident involving the Bakersfield Police Department on the morning of June 20th, as he was simply walking home to his father's apartment in Bakersfield, CA. It is disheartening to learn that the police vehicle involved did not have its lights or sirens on at the time. Currently, an internal investigation is underway and the officers involved have been placed on administrative leave. As we await the release of Brandon's body to the funeral home, we are left with an immense void in our lives. The pain of losing him is indescribable, and it is especially heartbreaking to think of the future he will never have with his 4-year-old daughter, who will now grow up without her father's guidance and presence on her wedding day. Brandon was an only child, and his father, my brother, is devastated beyond words. No parent should ever have to bury their own child, and the anguish he is experiencing is beyond comprehension.
