Help bring back Cocina Nahua.

Hello, my name is Emily, co-owner of Cocina Nahua, and I am fundraising for the recent tragic theft of our van along with all of our equipment inside.
Me and my partner Rubi started Cocina Nahua amidst the COVID pandemic in September of 2020. We are a two person street vending operation serving tacos with fresh handmade tortillas, as well as many other menu items. We take pride in that all of our menu items are made from scratch. Everything we serve is made in house. But we are also mothers who have worked tirelessly to start up our own business to support our children. Both of us rely solely on the income we generate from this operation. After two failed location attempts; we finally found a home for Cocina Nahua in Korea town. On the corner of Wilshire and Catalina. There we set up Thursday through Saturday's from 7 pm to 2 am. We are grateful for the wonderful customer base we have grown and we look forward to serving everyone every week for many years to come. Our hope is that we can continue to bring joy through our food service with the help of the community. Our van, which carried all of our businesses equipment was stolen. We need help in replacing the van as well as all the equipment that was in it so that we can re-open Cocina Nahua as soon as possible. Any amount helps and we appreciate any at all help. We want to say Thank you in advance and we appreciate the support. We are committed and look forward to reopening soon.
