Help Caring Mother of Five with Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
We are raising money to help a giver who has constantly given to others all her life and now she is the one needing help.

It is never easy to write let alone think of something like this, however we appreciate having the opportunity to raise money to cover funeral expenses, and some other household costs for our Mom and Best friend Jennifer Pech.

Jennifer is only 49 years old. She is the mother of five amazing children and the grandmother of two.

She is a wife, sister, aunt, daughter, mom, grandmother and very best friend.

Jennifer was a caregiver for many years finding a calling in caring for others. She also worked as a preschool teacher for special needs children. She has a huge heart.

When Jennifer was born at the Naval Hospital in San Diego she weighed only 1 pound and 15 ounces. She was in the NICU for months. It seems her strength started right at the beginning of her life.

In June, after many years of dealing with not feeling well and trying to figure out what was wrong Jennifer was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and placed on hospice shortly there after. Her priority being caring for her family and friends spending quality time with them and doing all she can to assure they will be okay.

Her best friend Paula who she calls her sister had this to share:

In Fullerton California in the year 1999 I met my best friend my sister, my other half. Jennifer has been a big part of my life. We have had our good and bad moments. Everything has not been perfect. We have learned together to laugh and cry hold our hands and hope for the best we have had long nights just hoping things will get better. Jennifer has been a giver when it comes to helping people, a wonderful caregiver, a mother for her kids, and a loving grandma.

June 2023 was a month with so many challenges. I received a call at 6:04 AM and my heart dropped to the floor. I was told Jennifer had cancer. All I wanted was to go run to the hospital hug her and tell her everything was going to be OK and how much I loved her and that she wasn’t alone. Its been hard to process everything with her being worried about everyone in her life. She deserves happiness and loving memories and everything she wishes for when the time comes. She knows I would do anything in my hands to make sure it’s done. I can’t see myself without her, but we have each other today tomorrow and forever .

As Paola says, with Jennifer’s caring nature, she wants to make sure that everyone is as okay as they can be. Being the incredible mom that she is knowing that her children and family are already going through so much navigating this unexpected news it will ease her to know they don’t have to worry about things like funeral and necessary household costs.
knowing they are okay is what will bring her the most peace.

We are grateful for any help you can provide. Donations of any amount are appreciated and if you could please share our story and send your prayers.

Thank you,

Rose Pech and Paola Valencia
