Help Chance in his Recovery, struck by Vehicle

Donation protected

On July 16th at 8:30am, our dear friend Chance Weder was struck by a truck walking on his way to work. He was rushed to the Kelowna General Hospital for life threatening injuries.

As seen here on castanet:

Once Chance arrived at the Hospital and had all his tests and x-rays they discovered he has some broken ribs, damage to his kidney, severe road rash and a big goose egg on his head. Although he is lucky to have come out of the accident with only those injuries, they are still pretty severe and he is in a lot of pain. He was supposed to be transferred to Vernon Jubilee Hospital but has been spiking fevers all day. To make it worse, his room has been exposed to covid and now his mom and dad are not allowed to be with him.

About 2 years ago he lost his wife to cancer, its been a rough go for Chance and he struggles enough living pay cheque to pay cheque.

Chance is one of the kindest souls I have ever met. He cares and loves so deeply for his family and the people that are closest to him in his life. He will always be there for you without any complaints of what he's dealing with in his life.

He will be most likely be out of work and will be recovering for a while and we really want to make sure he can pay his bills and not have to stress about it while he's recovering.

Any amount of money you can spare will help immensely! Thank you.
