Help Charlie Rebuild After Loss of a Legacy

Dear community,

It is with heavy hearts that we, the Murphy family, share the devastating news of the loss of our matriarch Louise Murphy and subsequently Charlie and Louise’s home of 60 years in a tragic housefire. Charlie and Louise built decades of memories and raised their 6 children, 14 grandchildren, and 13 (soon to be 15) great grandchildren in this home. They have been strongholds in the Rockland community and are beloved by many. They have welcomed countless people into their home with open arms and a promise of a comfortable place to sit, a cold drink and sweets. Not only is Charlie now dealing with the loss of his home full of memories and all of his belongings, he is also grappling with the loss of his wife of 68 years.

This campaign aims to provide Charlie with the financial support necessary to alleviate the stress surrounding replacing all of his everyday belongings, including all of his clothing, shoes, daily essentials, etc., and enable him to focus on healing. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in his journey towards recovery.
