Help Christine Manno overcome injuries suffered at Amazon

Donation protected
My name is Christine Manno and I've worked for Amazon STL8 since July 2019. I'm suffering from injuries to my neck, back, hands, elbows, and legs. These are work-related injuries that happened at Amazon and Amazon has fought tooth and nail to deny medical treatment through Worker's Comp. The injuries happened over 2 years ago and have gotten worse during this time. I've blown through my savings, 401k, and credit cards. I have nothing left. I'm months behind on bills and cannot pay my rent which is due the first of the month. I cannot work any job because the multiple injuries affect my entire body. I have limited neck movement which causes a constant squeezing and tightness along with spasms and dizzy spells. My MRI showed 5 protruding disks in my neck. Sometimes my vision is affected when my inflammation increases higher up in my neck. I also have constant, severe sciatica on the right side that keeps me from driving or walking much, sciatica on the left side is intermittent. I have heart palpitations daily, ripping/tearing pains in my hands and elbows that make it difficult to grasp and hold things. I have migraines often which further exacerbate my neck injury. I have a lot of difficulty sleeping due to my neck. I have pain throughout my thoracic region as well. I haven't received a paycheck since January which is when short term disability benefits were exhausted. I'm currently waiting on a long-term disability decision but Amazon is holding that up as well. I do not have money for any bills. I was just approved for food stamps so I'm okay on food. Attorneys have not been much help.

Money donated will be used for rent, car, cellphone, insurance, and utilities. I'm trying to make it through the next couple of months until I can hopefully get these cases settled, which is in the process. Any amount will help. The anxiety and stress of everything severely affects my neck symptoms! I've never been in a situation like this and asking for help publicly is something I've never had to do. There's a lot more to the story and I will update this as time permits. Thanks in advance, your help means the world to me!

This is what happens at Amazon to injured workers and it has to stop! My fight isn't just for me. There is an injury crisis that Amazon is trying to cover up. I'm involved in an organization that is trying to unionize for higher pay and safer working conditions. I've had interviews with multiple media sources and Bernie Sanders HELP committee. Department of Justice launched an investigation into Amazon over a year ago. The NLRB is currently investigating them as well for interfering with our rights to organize. OSHA has investigated several incidents at STL8 as well as dozens of other warehouses across the country. Most recently I met with congresswoman Cori Bush along with others to ask for her support of the Warehouse Workers Protection Act that was recently introduced in DC a couple weeks ago. My injuries were a direct result of Amazon ignoring my multiple reports of safety issues.
