Dr. Zhengang Guo TCM Scholarship Memorial Fund

Dr. Zhengang Guo was both an MD and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner who spent his entire life treating others from all walks of life for a variety of health issues in China, the United States, and all over the world. After decades of treating patients as a trained oncologist, he made a choice to return to his generational family tradition and offer people the wisdom of thousands of years of Traditional Chinese Medicine knowledge.

Dr. Guo passed away on June 6, 2024, providing care to those who needed it until the very end. His compassion, knowledge, and presence will be forever missed. One of his goals was to spread the benefits of TCM and promote its practice and research to integrate with modern medicine to provide the best care to those in need.

Dr. Guo immigrated to the US to study and research at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He eventually moved to the Chicago area and began the first herbal TCM at the Midwest College of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. He helped establish Midwest College as one of the leading accredited schools for acupuncture and TCM in the US and inspired many students and patients over the years.

This memorial fund will help carry on Dr. Guo's legacy by providing support to the education and research of TCM. All donations will go towards establishing a fund at Midwest College to support the education of future practitioners through scholarships and research grants.
