Hello, I’m Moriah, and I’ve had the privilege of being not only a close friend to the Stephens family but also like a second adopted daughter to Larry and Betty Stephens. Destiny, their daughter, has been my best friend since we were little girls, and I have vivid memories of our friendship stretching all the way back to kindergarten. They are a true reflection of the love of Jesus and how He calls us to care for others.

Today, it is with great sadness that we share the news of Larry’s passing, leaving behind his beloved wife, Betty, and their daughter, Destiny, to navigate the overwhelming grief of his absence. Larry was the rock of their family—strong, dependable, and always there for his loved ones. Over the past few months, Larry courageously fought for his life in the hospital, and now that he is with his Savior, there are significant healthcare and funeral expenses that need to be covered.
