Help Dee's Family During His Transplant Journey

Donation protected

Daniel (Dee) Lozano, a 27-year-old native of Madera, is a marine veteran, former Madera Coyote football player, devoted husband, excellent provider, and wonderful father. Diagnosed with congestive heart failure four years ago, he recently fainted at work on June 13, 2024, leading to his transfer from Merced Hospital to Fresno Heart Hospital. It was there that doctors discovered his kidneys were failing and his heart was severely weakened. Just days after, Dee flatlined on Father's Day and is currently in critical condition, fighting for his life. He was transferred to UCSF on June 18, 2024, to await a heart transplant and is also in need of a kidney transplant. Following the transplant, Dee and his family will need to remain close to UCSF for monitoring for approximately 6 weeks. The community, family, friends, and co-workers of Dee, his wife, and his children are being asked for their full support so that they do not have to worry about finances during this challenging time. Expenses such as living near UCSF, gas, food, and other necessities that need to be covered. Any help, support, and prayers during this difficult time are greatly appreciated. The bake sale and other fundraisers are currently being planned, and we will update this page with information about the fundraisers soon.
