Hello, thursday night (11/31) Robert was preparing the home we bought 2 weeks ago for move-in. Robert fell 13-15+ feet off a ladder onto a concrete floor. He was trying to change out the bulbs in a light fixture that hung from the high ceiling. Robert is a Disabled Veteran, so we went to the VA Hospital, where they called this a trauma accident. They took X-rays showing a right calcaneal (heel) fracture and a bad sprained ankle. He had a CAT scan confirming the results with an 8 to 12-week recovery. Long story short, Robert is a newly hired restaurant manager (still under one year) and doesn't have coverage that allows him to get paid while not being at work on his feet. Paid vacation is exhausted for the year, and he only has one sick day to take. Please help us due to these unforeseen circumstances. I am a disabled cancer survivor with an endoprosthetic implant in my left leg distal knee femur area (80% bone was replaced) and a full-time mother of 5 busy bodies (5 beautiful children). I'm not sure how I will be able to pay the bills and keep a roof over our heads. We need your help; please donate what you can so we can help our brother in Christ not stress or worry about mortgage payments while out of work.
