Help Dylan Overcome Birth Injury Challenges

My son was born on 11/24/21, and I had a healthy pregnancy. Based on my ultrasounds, my baby had two functioning arms. However, when he was born, his head came out, but his body didn’t follow. The midwife, Sizzly Auer @sizzlyauer at Childbirth Options, LLC @childbirthoptions, delivered him and didn’t use the proper techniques to get him unstuck. There were several maneuvers she was supposed to try, but she didn’t. Instead, she pulled my baby by his head so hard that she ripped the nerves that control his right arm out of his spine, leaving the arm basically paralyzed.

My baby is about to turn 3 and still doesn’t use his right arm. He’s had two surgeries, one at 4 months and the other at 18 months. He’s been going to therapy since he was 4 months old. My baby will be in physical therapy for the rest of his life. He will never be able to fully use that right arm! Eventually, I decided to sue her to help with his medical expenses, but to my surprise, she doesn’t even have insurance yet, and to this day, she is still delivering babies.

Medical bills are steadily piling up as my baby gets PT and OT 3 times a week. I’m a single mom, and I have to take him to all those appointments and miss work. Meanwhile, Sizzly is going to work each day, delivering babies, still making a living as if she didn’t physically harm my baby during delivery.
