Help Ease April's End of Life Costs

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Crystal and I am April Wingrove’s first baby sister and first best friend. Many of you know her and many of you do not. So let me tell you about her from my eyes. April is something else, always has been. We were your typical sisters, having the best time one minute and fighting like crazy the next. But there was nothing typical about April, ever. I grew up in awe of her. She has this thing that attracts everyone to her. All the girls wanted to be her, including me and all the boys wanted to date her. So special she is! God has blessed her tremendously in her life with family, three beautiful children, two adorable grandchildren, many great friends, and a few loves. All who will forever be in her heart. A broken path led her away for a while but God and His beautiful grace has brought her back to us. If only for this short time and for now.

In late February, April was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. She has fought as hard as she could but now she’s tired and wants to go home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, Whom she surrendered her heart and life to. In these precious few months April has reunited with all of her children and two grandbabies which she acknowledges as God’s beautiful gift to her. We, as her family, have also shared in precious moments of laughter, tears, silliness, road trips to appointments singing 90s country music and just life. We’ve had wonderful and hard conversations about the past, the present and her future home in heaven. All have been tremendous gifts of God’s grace and mercy to all of us. And, oh how, we hoped her time would be longer so she could share some of it with those who love her, which are so many. April is beginning hospice and prayerfully she will peacefully and painlessly finish the journey home, which could be anytime now. I told her the other day, some call it a pilgrim's progress because this isn’t our home just a stop toward GLORY where He will wipe every tear from our eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain.

I am asking for you to prayerfully consider giving to the family to cover costs. Our dad and our stepmom, Donna, have taken great care of her these past few months and will continue until the end. Oh, Lord have mercy. Unfortunately, the cost of losing someone is high and we need support. Anything you give will be used to benefit April’s care and end of life costs. We appreciate you all. I will let everyone know when she has made it home to heaven.

Love and blessings,
April Wingrove’s sister
