Help Ebony Heal: Help Thom Cover Vet Bills

Donation protected
Hello, I'm Thom! (pronounced without the 'H')
Freelance audio engineer and projection designer, I also do work as a Professional Gamemaster with StartPlaying.Games and have 500+ paid games hosted (which is pretty darn cool!)

My cat, Ebony, is a 14 year old sweetheart that has been with me since February 2018 when she was adopted and through three moves, several breakups, and a a lot of occasional "dad has to work 80 hours this week" chaos. She's a floofy snugglebug, a spoiled princess (my fault!), and currently in a lot of pain.

On Saturday September 14th, we recently moved to a new apartment. She has been sneezing the week prior (as was I), which I'd attributed to kicking up dust while packing. However, on Wednesday September 18th, I noticed what looked to be dried tears coming out of her left eye and minimal appetite; which worsened on Thursday the 19th. I immediately called a recommended veterinarian and we able to get her into an appointment the following day (Friday the 20th).

According to the Vet, the cause of this all looks to be a tooth root abscess, which was not found during her yearly vaccination in June. Because of the swollen gums and damage at the root of the tooth, this is all pushing up through the cavity and causing a bacterial infection. She's been given antibiotics, x-rays, and precautionary bloodwork to search for tumors; which I've paid up to so far. However, her estimate for dental work on the teeth is looking to be anywhere from $1377.64 to $1920.79. On the higher end of the spectrum, this is a much as my monthly budget including rent and bills (my income averages to about 2400 - 2600 a month; though business has been slower this fall, so I'm falling on the lower end of that spectrum)

I'm trying to raise at least $1400 to cover the lowball of the estimate, any extra raised will go towards paying towards her initial vet bill from Friday ($630.38), to any amount on the higher end of her estimate, and towards Ebony's future checkups. All in all, if this exceeds the goal and hits $2600, it'd effectively cover everything from this infection.

I've also copied her estimate and diagnosis into a google drive, for those who are curious and want to see the breakdown.
