Help for Belle the cat's tumor surgery

Hi, my name is Katherine and I am fundraising for our beloved cat, Belle. She has a back story as a survivor that is too long of a story to tell here. Now, Belle has to have surgery to remove a tumor in her lower abdomen soon. Luckily, I have never had to start a Go Fund Me yet, but please know that Belle is worthy of the attempt to help defray the cost of her surgery. All the vet staff mentioned how sweet and cooperative she was at her initial visit to diagnose her yesterday. The approximate cost is $1400-$1800 including the pathology test to send the whole tumor for analysis after it is removed. I appreciate any help at all to help defray the cost of her upcoming surgery this week. Yesterday, I used Care Credit and my checking account for all the related tests, X-rays, pain medication, interpretations of bloodwork, pathology/cytology, X-Rays and sedation for the same ($1347.00 in total).

I have been 'head of the household' and a part-time professor at a local university and teach part-time at another university for many years. The combined bills of both the surgery -- and what was paid to keep her stable since yesterday -- is just a lot all at once to cover at this time. I know other animal lovers will understand this situation and how decisions have to be made quickly to take action in support of a pet's health.
