Help for Hari

July 1 update - I received the unbearable news that Hari passed away this morning. We are all completely shocked and heartbroken. Thanks to all of you who donated to help with the medical bills. I'm working with the folks in Nepal to find out how to best use these funds to honor Hari (if there is anything left after paying off the hospital bills).

Asking for money is something I hate doing but, I have to because, I need help. Or, more accurately, Hari needs help.
As most of you know, I've spent a lot of time in Nepal volunteering with the wonderful kids at the Shining Stars Children's Home. I've had the privilege of watching them grow into amazing teenagers and young adults. But now I've received the horrible news that one of those kids, Hari, has been diagnosed with intestinal cancer. He's been hospitalized for a while now and the bills are adding up. I've sent what I can to help, but it barely makes a dent. So I'm reaching out to you for help. Anything you can do to help with his hospital stay, surgery, chemotherapy and ongoing treatment would be greatly appreciated!
