Help for the Hartfords

On February 10th Amanda and Ed experienced a terrible tubing accident during their daughter, Ava's, school event. Amanda was able to walk away from the accident with a couple of stitches to the back of her head but sadly Ed was taken away by ambulance.  After a terrifying few hours in the ER it was determined that Ed fractured his C6/C7 facet joints in his neck along with a minimally displaced fracture of the right C3 transverse. What does all that mean? It means Ed will undergo surgery by a neurosurgeon in hopes of repairing the fractures. Ed will not be able to work or drive for 2-3 weeks and will also need to put a halt to his fellowship. While we don't know cost the surgery alone will be thousands of dollars, and with Ed out of work they will lose their primary source of income. We are asking for any amount you can give to help.
