Help Fulfill Bo's Final Wish

Leonard Raymond Erickson (Bo-Bo) was born September 13th 1945 and passed away June 14th 2024 at home surrounded by family. He grew up on the North side of La Crosse (Copeland Avenue). He was raised mostly by his mother as he lost his dad at a young age. Bo was an extremely hard worker, owning Erickson's roofing and working for everything he had. He helped build our huge loving family that we have today. Today being father's day, he is extremely missed and forever cherished. We wish he could be here celebrating with us, but he instead is up there with his father, mother, brother, sister, and son. He has always done so much to help everybody, he always had a joking manner, a stubborn attitude, and a loving dumener. He took people in when he had nothing but love to give. He was a Father, Brother, Dad, Grandfather, Mentor, and Friend. Bo was fighting cancer, heart failure, and lung disease, he was in pain for many years of his life. We're relieved to know that he's not in pain and went peacefully. We took him to our home June 11th and he went on hospice June 13th, given months to live. He didn't want to leave us, and was always worried about how everyone was going to be okay without him. We want him to know that we will be okay, but we want to make his final wishes come true. He was a simple man with simple desires, but he deserves more than this world could ever give him. He wants to be laid to rest with his son Lenny Erickson (Jr.), that was his one wish upon death. We appreciate anything you can spare towards our goal for his service and burial costs. He didn't have any type of life insurance due to his ongoing illness and cost of everything. Bo was never the type of person to ask for help, always helping others even when he had nothing. I think he knows we are struggling and need to ask for help even if it isn't much.
