Help Fund Maria Ontiveros' Memorial Service Last Request

Hi.

I'm Elisa and niece of Maria Ontiveros. We are raising funds for Maria Ontiveros' funeral memorial services and last request. Maria was also affectionately known as Aunt Ricky, daughter of Eldie Ontiveros and Alvino. Maria Ontiveros passed away on June 13, 2024 in Whittier, CA.

Maria had a long fight with Polio since childhood and was a survivor of this deadly illness that affected her limbs. Despite not having any medical cures, Maria lived a long life to 76 years old which also mirrored the same age of her mother that she deeply loved. Maria had no children and loved spending time babysitting and caring for her nieces, nephews, or just talking to her family.

Maria longed to jump and dance with her legs, like another child, but this deadly illness of polio prevented her from all the joys of walking. One of her favorite outfits was a dancing dress which allowed her to dream of jumping, walking, or twirling.

Maria wished to be buried near her mother's burial plot, but due to not having any monetary resources available, we are trying to raise enough funds to have a memorial service. The funds will be used to have a suitable memorial service and/or burial site. We have less than three weeks to raise any funds and as soon as we hopefully raise funds, we will be able to notify you of memorial service dates.
