Help Gina Continue Her Fight Against Cancer

Friends and family, we need your support.

In August of 2023, Gina discovered a lump in her breast and sought medical attention.

This kind, caring, and compassionate grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. How is this possible for a woman who prioritized her health?

Gina was diagnosed with fast-growing HER2 Cancer. In November 2023, after numerous tests and scans while navigating the complicated and often frustrating administrative side of the healthcare system, Gina began chemotherapy treatment consisting of 4 infusions every three weeks. Each treatment took nearly an entire day. That lasted until February 2024 and was deemed successful, shrinking the mass by nearly 75%. Surgery took place on April 5th. The next step was radiation and we had hope.

Unfortunately, a couple of weeks after surgery, Gina was told the pathology test done after the surgical procedure revealed residual HER2 cancer cells. Chemotherapy treatment would need to resume for another 12-14 sessions. Gina completed radiation treatment on June 10th and is scheduled for additional chemotherapy treatment into 2025.

Throughout this terrible ordeal, Gina’s concern was for the emotional impact on her family and loved ones.

If you know Gina, you already know she is the most considerate, generous, and selfless person you’ll ever meet. This has not changed throughout her battle with this terrible disease, continuing to support any Veteran and First Responders related charities.

She is a wonderful human being, strong and proud, and it is our responsibility to help support her monetarily and emotionally. If only we had more people like her, this world would be a better place.
