Help Han Keep his Promise to his employees.
This week was our last that we are open for the foreseeable future. I promised my small crew of cooks( two amazing people) that I would do everything I can to make sure they can get their last paycheck and a little extra while we are closed. Even though we are allowed to stay open and fulfill take out orders, there still wasn’t enough business to fulfill my promise. I am heart broken and am really needing your help. My cooks decided to stay on until the end knowing that they are only working for tips while we tried to feed the service industry people that got laid off. They wanted to help, and they selflessly did it only for cash tips. I was hoping that we would be ok from what little sales we did but it was not enough. I hate that I have to ask for help. I feel awful asking the community to contribute while we are closed. One of the most sobering realizations from this whole ordeal that we are going thru is that, even if we are allowed to stay open for Togo orders, it costs more to stay open than what it brings in. We are fortunate enough that we can re-open when the time comes. But, until then, my promise to my employees will go unfulfilled. Please if you can help my crew thru this difficult time. All the proceeds will go to keeping them alive and fed until the get some help from the state.
Thank you so much for all your support!!!
