Help Honor Josephine Martinez's Memory

To our Loving Friends and Family,

We are sadly announcing the death of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother; Josephine “Josie” Martinez.

She had been fighting the last two years to keep strong to stay here with her loving husband and loved ones.

Unfortunately on June 27th, 2024, she departed from this world and has reunited with our Loving God Father Almighty.

Josie was a devoted Catholic of St. Theresa Church for over 50 years. She was a superior volunteer at many Church/Diocese organizations and a mega supporter/PTA Volunteer and Leader at Roy Miller High School since her children and grandchildren journeyed through their High School years.

Josie’s granddaughter Tori has launched this GoFundMe campaign in hopes of raising money to cover Josie’s final funeral costs. Any monies raised past the amount will be used to help support her living husband of 73 years, Ruben Martinez “Primo”.

Arrangements are still in progress but dates for the Rosary/Funeral will be held on July 12 and 13th, 2024.

Our family welcomes any support that is offered of any kind for Josie’s memorial services. Please share this information with anyone you may know that knew Josie. She met many people throughout her life. She deserves to be remembered by all.

Thank you everyone for your kindness and support through this difficult time. Josie will live on in our hearts and memories and will be remembered and cherished forever.
