Help Raise funds for Emergency Housing and Tuition

My name is Dandelion and i am a non-binary visual artist from Nigeria. In September 2020, I arrived the Netherlands as an MA student at the Dutch Art Institute (DAI), an acclaimed master in Art Praxis affiliated with the ArtEZ University of the Arts (dutchartinstitute.eu). However, since my arrival in the Netherlands, my plans and source of funding are no longer sustainable and as a result I'm facing emergency housing insecurity, and the threat of financial exclusion from the ArtEZ University of the Arts due to non-payment of tuition fees for the second year of my MA program.
As a non-EU student, ArtEZ requires to pay 40% higher fees than EU students, a structural policy that discriminates against many artists from the global South, in combination with the very restricted possibility of finding student jobs, this is putting me in a precarious situation under constant fear of having to drop out before the finalization of my academic program and losing my legal status in the Netherlands. This is particularly devastating for me as an African queer artist who came to the Netherlands with the hopes of finding a safe space to develop my artistic research, while facing legal and social persecution in my home country.
Please support me to raise 20,000 eur to secure accommodation and continued enrolment in the DAI’s two-year program, to take time to study and without having to constantly worry about securing my legal status as a student in the Netherlands.
