Help Jody's Family and Fight Domestic Violence

Hello everyone, my name is Alyssa Larson. My family and I were blind sided yesterday (June 8th, 2024) by the loss of my husband’s mother due to a violent and senseless death. We were notified by a kind woman via Facebook to contact the Fargo police department, and found out a body was found in her apartment earlier that day, which was later confirmed to be Jody Campbell. Because of the on going investigation, there wasn’t any additional information available. We received a call from my grandparents saying the crime had been aired the news, and just like the general public we learned her death wasn’t accidental, but a homicide.

Our family and the community is grieving this tragic loss. A mother, grandmother, sister and friend. We are asking for assistance with the sudden financial stress this will cause for our family. The proceeds donated will go towards funeral expenses, future financial stress and we will be donating some of the money to domestic violence crisis centers in Fargo and Grand Forks, North Dakota.

(June 10th, 2024) this little black bird sat with us for several minutes today. Almost as if she sent it for those who didn’t know, Jody was one of the faces of Blackbird Wood Fire Pizza. She loved her job, co workers and her customers. You guys were her family. I know how proud she’d be of her community coming together. Thank you!
