Help Jose Revive His Livelihood and Luci's Health

Jose lives in Venezuela with his daughter Luciana (which means The Light!)

A few months ago, Luci was hospitalized for a month with severe bronchitis and asthma. She was home for a few weeks, and then contracted covid, sending her back to the hospital for another two weeks.

Since then Luci has been in and out of the hospital. She is getting more stable now, but still needs regular treatments.

During all of this, Jose, who had been making a living in Venezuela's collapsed economy as a rideshare driver, lost his job because his car broke down. Hospital bills quickly ate up Jose's small savings, and he was left unable to fix his car and unable to pay the medical bills for Luci's needed treatments.

Jose has exhausted all of his own funds and his family's help.

He needs to continue to pay for Luciana's treatments, and he needs to get his car fixed so that he can return to work and make ends meet. Right now, Jose often goes without eating so that Luciana can, and they are daily teetering on the edge of disaster.

Jose needs $600 to repair his car, so he can get back to work and $400 to cover Luci's ongoing medical treatments.
