Help Joslyn Breathe, The Government won't fund her

Donation protected
My name is Joslyn Duncan; I am a 60-year-old mother and grandmother. I presently live with my husband(Dale), who only gets part-time hours at work. I am on oxygen 24/7 to help me to be able to breathe properly. Because I got Covid 19 in April and I was sick, my right lung did not do good; because of the coughing, I broke a rib, and my lung collapsed. What it is called is Bibasilar Atelectasis. It's not a good thing to have. When I get up to go to the washroom and go back to bed, I feel like I have run a marathon. If I go downstairs, I have to stop and rest. I tire easily when I try to play with my grandkids. I don't sleep well, and my appetite diminishes.
That is what it is like for me; people with asthma or COPD know what I am talking about. It's an awful feeling. All I want is to be able to make it to the surgery, which could be a while. I want to have energy as I have enjoyed for the last three months. In the last three months, my body has had more energy; I feel like my organs have woken up. It feels so good to feel more energized.
And they want to take oxygen away so we can pay for it ourselves; we don't have a money tree in the backyard. A significant complication of having a collapsed lung is that I do not get enough oxygen in my blood, which causes severe issues with my existing medical conditions (diabetes, asthma, heart disease, etc.). After many doctors and hospital visits, I was told I should be on oxygen full-time to help stabilize my breathing and blood oxygen levels. Being on oxygen helps me have the energy I need and helps regulate my diabetes so I can carry out normal daily activities and continue living as much of everyday life as possible with my medical conditions. I want to be able to have my surgery and be able to just breathe without gasping. I want an everyday life. Please!
I Just Want To Breathe

My goal with this go fund me is to raise enough funds for me to be able to rent the oxygen units and get my CPAP, all the supplies needed to keep me on oxygen full time until I have the surgery to correct my collapsed lung.
