The City of Atlanta and DeKalb county provide inadequate support to the unsheltered, who due to the negligence of the city and county officials are repeatedly forced to sleep in the streets when temperatures drop to 35 degrees or below.
Since the closing of the Peachtree and Pine shelter over six years ago, the Justice For all Coalition, lead by community activist Marshall Rancifer, has provided transportation to the city's warming centers for Atlanta's unsheltered population. We have also provided wool blankets, chemical hand warmers, emergency blankets, and socks to the unsheltered since the city refuses to provide shelter to all those who need it.
Please donate to the Justice for All Coalition and help us continue to raise money for these supplies to support our houseless brothers and sisters. Every person deserve shelter, food, and warmth. Anything helps!
