Help Kenyetta Avoid Eviction

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kenyetta Seabron. I’m an ADHD mom, mental health advocate, specifically ADHD and Autism. I’m also a certified life coach and business consultant. I formed Seabron & Seabron, LLC, my consulting firm in 2020. I’ve been making organic lavender vanilla sugar scrub since 2018. I opened ADHD AF Mama, my Etsy shop in May 2021.

Currently, my children and I are facing eviction from our new apartment. Dispossesory warrants are filed on the 8th of the month.

I applied and qualified for Covid-related rent relief in September but was denied. I listed my 2008 Ford Escape XLT for sale weeks ago and it hasn’t sold. The IRS said my tax return and stimulus payments have not been processed yet and may not be until 2022! My insurance company is still using the virus and pandemic to prolong court proceedings on my 2019 lawsuit. The two year statute of limitations passed this July.

My children and I are now terrified that we will be homeless again.

We moved here on May 3, 2021 with nothing but a few clothes because my 15 year old son’s health rapidly declined in April due to living in toxic mold. He had began experiencing extreme nosebleeds,
nausea, vomiting, headaches, sinus problems and food allergies!

Note: We lost our apartment and 99.9 % of all our belongings in 2019 while I was at work on the 7th of the month! I found out on the 8th. Less than 30 days late. The apartment manager even misspelled my name and I couldn’t locate my court paperwork when I tried to contest it.

We were homeless and living in toxic mold for two years after I was struck by another driver in a hit and run accident at work on July 29, 2019. I was driving for Lyft 70 hours a week. I had saved enough for a new apartment, was preparing to move then got hit by an uninsured tow truck driver in September 2019 and forced to stop driving. I had to live on what I saved of my income.

That hit and run accident in July 2019 tore my left shoulder and almost destroyed me and my children’s lives. I had to have surgery to repair my shoulder November 20, 2019 then go through months of physical therapy. I still haven’t fully recovered.

Me and my children’s health declined rapidly. In July 2019, my 3 year old girl went into anaphylactic shock and was rushed to the ER at CHOA and admitted for an overnight stay! August 2019 my baby had a severe asthma attack while I was working and was rushed to the ER by ambulance! She started experiencing asthma attacks, fevers and new food allergies every month for the first year. Her doctor Rx a steroid for a year to prevent the mold-induced asthma attacks! COVID-19 and preexisting conditions caused her to miss PreK in 2020 and Kindergarten this school year!

My tax returns had to be amended this year after a relative used my children’s socials and got a Child Tax Credit and Dependent Stimulus payments. We have been living a nightmare!

I paid, a credit repair company $1,000 in November 2020 to repair my credit. I paid an additional $1500 April 2021 to the owner to secure an apartment for me and my children when two of my applications were denied. I also paid $9,999 for a 1 on 1 business mentorship in April 2021 which left me upside down on all my expenses.

I say all this to illustrate that I’ve not been resting on my laurels. Instead, I increased my efforts, invested in myself and personal development  to find that I still need outside help.

My children and I would be eternally grateful for your help to cover our past due and future rent, utilities, bills and expenses so we can remain in our apartment until my tax refund and settlement funds are released. Thank you!
