Hi, My name is Kylene. I am a 53 year old single woman who works for the City of Durango as a Parking Enforcement  Officer. I am known in my town as the meter maid with the smile, shorts and fun socks. I love my job and cannot wait to get back to walking 20k steps a day instead of my 2000 maybe now. <br /><br />  I hate to do this but I am needing unexpected and unplanned surgery on my spine. I  have been unable to work for a few weeks now as I can barely walk or stand without severe pain anymore. I am currently on medical leave but that is only 2/3 pay and 12 weeks. I have used all my paid time off now and surgeon says complete recovery will be aboout three months. I am hoping to be able to go back to work sooner than that but right now do not have surgery scheduled. Every dime helps and is much appreciated. I always try to help others in need and this is teaching me to  accept help for myself.
