Help Laurie recover

On Monday, April 15th, Laurie was on her daily morning walk in Koloa Town when she was struck by a vehicle. The assailant fled the scene, leaving Laurie broken and bleeding. Those who witnessed the incident quickly rushed over to help her; however, the trauma Laurie sustained is extensive.
Laurie has multiple broken bones, including twenty of her ribs, her neck, hip, pelvis, and ankle. She also has internal bleeding, an aortic tear, a punctured lung, and other life-threatening injuries.
Laurie faces a myriad of challenges and a long road to recovery. As she recuperates from her many surgeries and procedures, she will stay in Honolulu where her medical team can continue to give her the care she needs to make a full recovery.
Her devoted husband Richard will remain by her side in Honolulu, traveling to and from Kauai and O’ahu as needed.
The cost of Laurie’s recovery will be great. All donations will be used solely by Richard and Laurie for costs incurred by this horrific event.
