Support Lena’s Fight Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Vera. I am raising money to help my dear sister, Lena Krutskikh, who has been diagnosed with Stage 1, grade 2, an aggressive Invasive Ductal Carcinoma along with Axilla Lymph Node tissue with Metastatic Carcinoma. Lena is currently caught up with all of her medical tests, exams, and procedures and is scheduled to undergo a partial mastectomy (lumpectomy) on September 16, 2024. Doctors are also currently awaiting her MammaPrint genomic test results to know how to proceed past her surgery. If low risk, proceed with radiation, and if high, then neoadjuvant chemotherapy first and then radiation.

After these are completed, Lena will need rehabilitation and restoration of her health at a local integrative medical facility, such as rebuilding, repairing, and restoring her immunity, oxygenated blood count, cells, etc. We have decided that the next step in Lena’s cancer treatment journey will be at The Grossgold Clinic in Clearwater, FL, and are already putting together a treatment plan with them (stay tuned for updates). The benefit of her treatments and therapies being “a la carte” enables us to ‘pay as we go’ as well as allow my sister to collaborate more easily with Dr. Silvers and Dr. Grossgold. In addition, this allows my sister’s maintenance treatment to be local and more accessible.

My sister would love to be able to focus on her treatments without worrying and stressing about the bills.

All donations will go directly towards covering Lena’s ongoing rehabilitative treatment sessions, nutritional supplements, and therapies. Lena also needs the removal of all heavy metals and mercury from her mouth and will have restorative procedures at Clearwater Family Dentists’ office with holistic approach type care, where she is currently a patient.

This past April 2024, I felt a lump in my left breast when I felt prompted to perform a routine breast exam. I then ran to share this frightening discovery with my mother, telling her, “God forbid it’s going to turn out to be cancer, and if it will, don’t even dare to think that I’ll be going through it all alone!”

She buried her youngest sister to cancer on May 17, 2023, and my dad (her husband) about a year and a half ago, and the last thing I want is for her to go through another devastating trauma. But here I am, a month later, reading her my biopsy results stating I have Stage 1 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma ☹. This disease brings an immeasurable amount of fear, stress, anxiety, and worry. But God has been my number one strength in the midst of this adversity, and when I take my eyes off of Him, my mom, family, church family, and friends are always there to remind me that ‘I’m not at all alone in this cancer fight.’ I am just beyond grateful for all the people God placed and is still placing in my life to assist and help me get through this overbearing sickness.

I have done numerous biopsies, HydroMarker placements in the tissue where biopsies were taken, and the last pre-surgery procedure I have just undergone was the placement of a “Reflector” (a tiny device about the size of a grain of rice) into my previously positive biopsied Axilla Lymph Node. It’s completely passive until activated in the operating room when the surgeon uses the Scout System to locate and remove both the lesion and the Reflector.

Our family is continuing to trust the Lord as He leads our every step and pivot. We are so grateful to our God and Savior for directing our path. We thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts for your faithful prayers and generous donations.
