Help LJ and family recover from a fire!

LJ and her family and pets discovered their home ablaze on 12/8 and are going to need all sorts of help to get back on their feet. They are currently staying at the Residence Inn (thank you for them comping two rooms for now). LJ is working with the Red Cross to identify longer term housing options for their family of four adults, 3 dogs and two fish (who all are unharmed). Primary damage to the house is from smoke and water and the roof on half the house is decimated. The outer walls and foundation may be salvagable, but initial adjustor was not hopeful for much else. It was a three-alarm fire and there were multiple fire departments on site including 6 or more trucks. We are distributing cash immediately to LJ and family to help them with clothing, food and other immediate needs and also raising funds for housing that LJ and family will need for some period of time. Red Cross took info from LJ last night and will be working with the family to provide resources.
