Help Madison Through Thyroid Cancer

Hello! My name is Maddy and I’m asking for help paying for rent, food, and related expenses while I go through a thyroidectomy. There was a lump found in my thyroid which, after multiple biopsies, doctors are 75% sure is cancerous. If left, it will eventually develop into something more serious, so we have decided the best course of action is to remove my thyroid while the lump is still early-stages and easier to treat.

While I am blessed to have quality insurance and a supportive family, this is my second major medical event in six months. Last December, I had brain surgery to help deal with a Chiari Malformation, which meant several months where I was unable to work.

The time taken off of work while sick and recovering has had an effect financially on my partner and I. I do not want to overburden immediate family members with more requests for financial assistance as I face another medical challenge, so I figured I’d extend the request to my larger support network.
