Help Makayla Raise Money for School Lunches

Makayla is our sweet 7 year old that currently attends GH schools. She came home one day from school with a lot to say(nothing new our Chatty Cathy lol). She was explaining how she found out that some kids cannot afford lunch regularly.  This lead into a deep conversation of a lot of “whys”.  She was clearly concern and immediately started asking what we could do. She mentioned lemonade stands, doing odd jobs, and then asked when she could start working for money. Ahhh, did I mention she’s 7?!?! It was such a bitter/sweet moment for myself but mainly a proud one.  She has since continued to ask her dad n I what she can do to help. 

I promised her that not only would we contribute to her mission to contribute to the school lunch program to help those in need but I would reach out tofamily and friends as well for their support. This means a lot to her to help! Please find it in your heart to contribute in helping her reach her personal goal. Keep in mind that $3 is an average for a child to eat at school a day.  Thank you!!
