Help Mario with Pancreatic Cancer Treatment

Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends:

On October 31st my father Mario was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. His tumor is sitting on his common bile duct and has spread to his liver, lungs and gallbladder. His cancer is an aggressive pancreatic cancer and Mario was immediately hospitalized for a week in San Antonio (November 14-21, 2023) because chemo needed to begin immediately. The oncologist said there was not any time to wait. He was released from the hospital but he will need to receive treatment every 14 days for 3 sessions per week beginning now (December 5) through the end of May 2024. Each session of chemo will costs about $800 per visit so 12 sessions (through May) at $800 is about $9,600.

Unfortunately, battling cancer comes with its share of physical, emotional, and financial burdens. Mario’s treatment and hospitalization expenses are accumulating fast, putting an immense strain on him because he is single and has only his one income. Since the beginning Mario did not want a GoFundMe for himself/our family, however we are reaching out to you today with a plea for help. These funds will provide much needed support during this challenging time.

By contributing to Mario’s medical fund, you will make a tangible difference in his life. Your generous donations will help cover medical bills, hospital stays, costly medications, specialized treatments, and other expenses that typically arise when battling pancreatic cancer. Your financial support will alleviate some of the burden and allow Mario to focus on getting the medical care he needs.

Every dollar raised, no matter the amount, will go a long way in making an impact on his journey. With his love and faith in the Lord, Mario is gracefully accepting what has been presented to him. The Lord has a purpose in all he does.

Mario was born and raised in San Marcos, Texas. He graduate from San Marcos High School in 1972 and during his time at SMHS he played football and baseball. He moved to California for a short time but returned to San Marcos after 3 years. He has 1 daughter and 1 grand daughter. He is the 4th of 6 siblings. Mario’s career was as a hairdresser where he met many people and made lots of friends. Mario loved music and he has attended many concerts and he loves playing his drums.

We humbly request that you share this campaign with your network of friends and family, spreading awareness of Mario's story and encouraging them to contribute.

Your compassion and generosity can help bring hope and comfort to him during this difficult time. Please donate what you can, share his story widely, and keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for your support, kindness, and consideration, and thank you for taking the time to read this, we really appreciate it. Thank you for your donation, we know this is a busy time of the year!
