Help Matt replace belongings after fire.
"I've faced bitter rain, and obstacles, and sunny days where I couldn't get warm." from Bitter Rain-
Matthew de Heus
Musican, writer, luthier and friend Matt de Heus has had a recent tragedy. On Wednesday July 28th, Matt's apartment house caught on fire. Matt was called home to find his apartment being worked on by firefighters. Luckily his little dog Ozzy had gotten out in time and was safe. (His cat Mouse is currently missing, but we hope he has found a safe quite place to hide). There was fire, smoke and water damage. The estimated cost from the restoration company looks like it will be around $5000 on it's own. Matt will be faced with some short term emergency expenses, and will likely have to replace or restore many belongings.
Matt has always been there for support and help whenever anyone needed it. The musical community is a tight one, with wonderful and generous people. Now it's our turn to give back to Matt. Please make a donation if you're able. And if you aren't, perhaps a home cooked meal, or a call to offer friendship and a kind word could mean a lot. Many thanks in advance for whatever you're able to contribute.
