Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for my good friend Mike Loper who was born with Cerebral Palsy and been using a wheelchair his entire life. After multiple efforts and surgeries to get Mike to walk, nothing has worked in his 47 years with us.     Covid has impacted our world and changed many things but it has also left Mike confined to his apartment for over 3 years in a bed. He and his father Alvin who is in his eighties have been living in an 800sq ft condo with no transportation. Mikes mother passed recently and his dad is his only full time caregiver, who needs help himself.     I am asking for donations to buy Mike and his dad a handicap van that can fit his chair and allow him to get back out into the world we all get to see. He is working hard to get back into his chair through exercise, therapy, injections and medication.    We take many things for granted but Mike has endured so much more than we can imagine while keeping a smile on his face. This man deserves to live life the way we do and see the Sun again.    Thank you for your generosity and all proceeds will go towards a handicap van to transport Mike. Also anyone looking for part time hours helping Mike it would greatly be appreciated by him and his family. Especially to drive the new van!
