Help Monarch DECA attend the State Conference
Donation protected
On December 30th the state of Colorado suffered the most destructive wildfires ever recorded in our state.
Nearly 1,000 families lost their homes in the time span of 24 hours in the Louisville/Superior area.
I have set up a fund that is dedicated to help the families of Monarch High School DECA to allow them to attend the State Leadership Conference, February 27-March 1. Some of the DECA members have lost their homes and don't feel comfortable asking their parents for additional funds, along with new clothes, in the midst of what they are dealing with FEMA, insurance, housing etc . Living in the community, I am so grateful that my house was spared but I want to help in any way possible. I can't do it alone.
This fund will help provide them registration, hotel, meals and any additional expenses for the conference. In November MHS DECA students qualified 70 students for the State Conference and the price for each student is $600. Due to Covid, Boulder Valley Schools require only 2 students per room which increases the cost as well.
By donating to this fund you are providing students a learning opportunity and a wonderful experience. Students have been working hard throughout year and we don't want their hard work to be taken away with the fires.
Please donate what you can. Anything helps.
